Mission & Values

Puerta Hermosa Outreach (Beautiful Gate Outreach ) is community-focused, faith-filled people who serve in Fox Cities communities and beyond.

Puerta Hermosa was founded in 2008 as leaders saw the many cultural and spiritual challenges facing today’s families. Recognizing strong communities are built by the families who live in them, it seemed critical to build strength and unity together for our future.  Our mission is to love and serve the people of our community, helping families and individuals to :
  • Understand their value
  • See their potential
  • Recognize problems and barriers
  • Receive direction, encouragement and support
We use love, faith,  and honest self-assessment to help people see and stop destructive cycles; then move toward their potential.  We do this by building caring, positive personal relationships and connecting people to existing community resources. We believe that by strengthening families, we help our community grow stronger.

The members of our board of directors are leaders who make a difference in our community. Each of them brings a unique set of skills and faith to Puerta Hermosa.
